reminder, inventory management, etc. The highly robust software has been
specially designed to match the needs of CPAs, accountants, bookkeepers, small

version of QuickBooks which is QuickBooks hosting . The users get various benefits with the
hosted QB like anywhere, anytime accessibility, high uptime, enhanced security,
multi-user access, etc. And in such situation where QuickBooks hosting is taking care of all
your accounting needs then even a little slowdown can really hamper the
productivity of your business.
Although QuickBooks has been designed in such a way that you
don’t face any type of trouble while working on it but every technology comes
with issues which you need to solve or get solved.
So, in this blog post, we will be looking at the top tips
for optimizing the performance of QuickBooks hosting.
1.Close the QB live community
Although there can be several reasons for the slowdown of
your QB software, one of the most prominent reasons is keeping the QB live
community open. The live community is located on the right side of the
QuickBooks file and keeping it always open can cause slowness and even freezing
of your software. If you open your QuickBooks hosting and see the live
community open then close it, uncheck the Open live community box and don’t
forget to check the do not ask this again. After following this procedure, the
live community will not open by itself and thus it will not slowdown your
computer.
If you want to turn off the above setting then go to
Edit>Preferences>Desktop view and then deselect the option to show Live
community.
2. A good internet speed
With the help of QuickBooks, you are able to access the data
from anywhere and at any point of time and since all the data and the software
is stored on the cloud which is accessed through internet, a slow internet
connection can really hamper the performance of QuickBooks hosting and can cause it to freeze.
That’s why you should have a good internet speed. You don’t even need to have a
lightning fast speed for accessing the company file smoothly because QB has
been designed in such a way that even in cloud, it can work seamlessly with an
average internet speed.
3.Remove SmartVault if you are not using
If you don’t have any SmartVault account and still seeing
the green login box at the bottom of the screen of your QuickBooks hosting then it can also be one
of the most prominent reasons for freezing your software or making it slow. But
this situation is only when you are not using the SmartVault.
You can easily remove SmartVault from your software by segregating it with QuickBooks hosting. For doing so, click on Edit>Preference>
Integrated applications and then remove the check mark beside SmartVault.
So, if you are facing any type of slowdown in the
performance of your QuickBooks
hosting then you can follow the above-mentioned steps and can enjoy the
well-known seamless performance of your favorite accounting software.
